Plug in your device and immediately after, in a terminal issue the following command, and then copy and paste the result into your next post ........

dmesg |  tail   EDIT to correct error!!!!!!!!!!!   :-[  :-[  :-[

EDIT:
It seems your device should have a TDA18271 tuner and if so then it is supported.

I do not understand ....  you "get nothing" .......

Copy and paste what is in the console .......  the command AND the result of pressing Enter.

I believe He's just typing the command after inserting the device, not actually entering the command into a terminal window?

Hello again    i would type in the command and hit enter  but i got nothing    nothing happened nothing came up in the terminal window

.......  and still no copy & paste of what you are looking at ....  even if it is "nothing" ....

when you decide it is worth the effort to supply the info requested (twice), there might be some other suggestions ..... until then I have nothing to post ......

Seems to me it is supported under kernel 3.2.18 in PCLOS .......  presumably you are not running that kernel?

To find out, in a terminal do

uname -r

Info on that device

There is a different model variant (USB ID: 1b80:e346) of the UB435-Q USB ATSC TV Stick, containing different hardware components and is presently not supported.

It appears that you have the "346" variant which is NOT supported!

 :(   :(

EDIT:
Back in 2010 there was some work being done to support this V2 device, with an attempted patch etc .....  but I have not found anything to indicate that the work was completed to support the V2 device.
I will keep looking .....  but I don't hold out a lot of hope at this time.
