Is there a PCLinuxOS version for a thumbdrive?
« on: November 01, 2012, 10:54:44 PM »
I'm considering using a thumbdrive linux version to use with a hub and portable HD's. Can anyone recommend a distro?
Has anyone successfully used such a thing on an android tablet?...or with bluetooth accessories?

Looking at getting a Samsung Note 2 or possibly an ASUS padphone. Just curious. Options are fun.

Have you asked these questions at the Buntu forum?

No, should I? Linux Mint looked kinda nice, as did Puppy, but I was hoping to stick with PCLinux

I think what Rudge is alluding to is that there is an arm port of the other distro. PCLinuxOS is for 32-bit and soon 64-bit pc's. There is no arm version planned. You can install PCLinuxOS onto a thumbdrive if you want, however, it will only run on pc-compatible devices.
