About the pedestrians in this video - none of them was wrong even in 1:50 case.

Pedestrians in trouble:

Beginning
0:17
1:50
2:40
2:54

I would like to see the logic of that statement!

They were completely in the wrong when they walked out from behind a vehicle into the path of another vehicle, whose driver had no chance of seeing them (the pedestrian).

Those two at 2.50 show typical stupidity ......... and are totally at fault for their own hurt/death.

Hehe .....  they were moving so fast one went in front of the moving vehicle and the other hit the vehicle in the side!

The car had a red traffic light!

Nevertheless they should have checked that crossing is safe....

They should have used the pedestrian crossing at the lights.  ;)

For unknown reason I can't take pictures from this video.

So I'll describe in words:
Beginning:
There's a green light for the crossing zebra and red light for cars. Nevertheless a car crosses it at high speed and at red light and almost hits the man.

0:17
There is a road road sign of crossing pedestrians - look an see!
One machine stops but another doesn't.
And it seems to me that women lives in the house just at the other side.

1:50
This is the most arguable in this video.

There is a bus stopped at the right of the frame.
There in Russia and here in Bulgaria we have a rule - stop if you see a bus at the stop-point. Because of that what you saw...

2:40
You see there a car going far out of the road and hitting a man after that.
What else?

2:54
You see two young girls crossing the avenue at a green light and a car crossing at red light. And hitting them.

What else you need to see, my friend? :)

Just another observation. I just watched about half of it again and it sucks you in in the beginning. You think they are just going to be close calls then reality sets in as people start being killed. It is a very powerful video and quite disturbing.
Another note, is how many people have dashboard cameras, or are all of these videos from a police car point of view. Just made me think.

Yeah Joe.
I always look around doesn't matter if I do it on green ore red light.
My eyes are doubled at that point an so I told my children.

But that's only me.

Those pedestrians have (or had? :() the right to cross the street under the common accepted rules.

Many drivers in Russia have dashcams as pedestrian accident frauds are allegedly endemic

"Many drivers in Russia have dashcams as pedestrian accident frauds are allegedly endemic"

i was going to ask about that, why so many videos of accidents

i was thinking that those were police cars

Remember your statement that NONE of them were wrong .....  which is what I commented upon.

I commented particularly on two pedestrians who ran out into the road from behind another vehicle as well as one other who did the same.

They were wrong!

.....  or are you attempting to tell me that is acceptable behaviour from pedestrians to go blindly into the road?
If so then we have no basis for agreement here at all.

The beginning I clearly see a pedestrian crossing .....  with road markings and lights.

0.17  I see no road markings, nor pedestrian signs.

What I do see is a van coming to a stop, a woman walking out in front of it, a car passing it by, and the woman continuing to walk into the road while looking to her right .....  from which direction no traffic is coming, and ignoring the second van coming from her left.
If it is a marked crossing place, then at minimum she is guilty of stupidity for not looking towards possible oncoming traffic.
But I made no comment previously on her actions!

1.50 on which I previously commented .....  the pedestrian walks into the road in front of moving traffic, coming out from behind stopped or slow moving vehicles ....  in this case a bus apparently, giving the driver of the car no chance at all.
Totally in the wrong!

2.40 ......  I cannot see enough of what happened leading up to the pedestrian being hit, to comment.

2.54 ....  I see two pedestrians running into the road from behind a yellow van (bus?), ensuring that they had no idea what traffic might be coming and also making sure if there was traffic that the drivers would have no chance of reacting to their stupidity.

Why did they not cross at the traffic lights?
They chose to run into the road a distance from the lights.
Other pedestrians crossed at the designated place -----  at the lights.
Those two chose to run into the road at some distance from the lights.
They were in the wrong.
Their stupidity had unfortunate consequences for them.

None of the above comments are meant to imply that some of the drivers shown in the videos were not also stupid and/or at fault.

Ah, I was unaware of this. No wonder there are so many dashcams. Thanks.

I agree they were in the wrong and they paid for it with their lives perhaps. The driver was probably blamed for their stupidity. There were a few others that were the blame as well.
People take so much for granted. It is human nature I guess. Deadly in these cases.

In the case of the two running into the road, the driver was also at fault, it seems to me, as it appears he broke a red light.
He actions do not detract from theirs of course, as his actions did not influence theirs.

No matter how these things are viewed and who is at fault , they are horrific. And to think these kind of things happen on a daily basis in the world. The near misses as well.
Yesterday, I was stopped at a stop light and I look in the mirror and there is a car just flying along and it shows no signs of slowing down. No where for me to go so I just wait and hope. It was a girl texting, oblivious to the world, and at the last second was able to slam on her brakes and just miss plowing in to me. If she had not looked up I would have been a good candidate for that video.

Just remember this kind of thing happens EVERY day. Watch your backs my friends.....matter of fact , your fronts and sides too.

Yeah I know and you know, my friend, that this is dangerous in all occasions.

But I think I showed that those pedestrians were acting on the road righteously and that car-drivers that endangered them were against the common accepted rules on the road.
That I was saying only.

Particularly everybody should think on anybody on the road... but pedestrians have the right to not be so concerned if they obey the rules - because walking on your feet is so... uhmm... natural that they (unlike me) have all the rights to forget about those in the cars, heavy heavy cars that can hit...

... ha! ... Here is the flavour of my speech  :D :
What is the difference of a man hitting a car and a car hitting a man?
