**SOLVED** Kdenlive Missing Dependices in Repository

Ok, so I was fully up to date until my system crashed today, I think my hard drive had a brain fart.

But anyway, trying to reinstall Kdenlive video editor...I had it before it crashed.

But now, it finds it in Synaptic, but when I hit apply to install I get

kdenlive:
 Depends: libmlt4  but it is not installable
 Depends: libmlt.so.4  but it is not installable

I also noticed, when I reload it only loads 14 files when downloading package info, it use to load 16, am I missing a source repository.

There are 2 repositories I have checked in my sources, should there be more. A screenshot of the repositories that are checked can be seen here http://huntfordeals.biz/repos.jpg

Any help is greatly appreciate, I use Kdenlive a lot, I want it back. :-)

I got it, probably a slow way to do it, but I just kept unchecking on repo and checking another then reloading and trying again

I found the missing dependencies in
http://mirror.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/mirror/pclinuxos/pclinuxos/apt/

That's because the Calgary mirror hasn't updated since August  
I hope you have changed back to your original mirror after installing the dependencies otherwise you won't be getting any updates.

Yes, I did switch back to the original repo's after I got the files I needed.

And thanks for posting the link to the other post, that does explain why there was an issue.

This should not be marked solved as the original problem remains.  Kdenlive is still not installable.  It still needs to be rebuilt.

If you already have libmlt4 installed then you will be able to install kdenlive.  However, libmlt4 is not in the repo now and so can't be installed (nor any packages that depend on it).
The original broken package post is still active.
