Since the last upgrade to wpa_supplicant 1.0-1...
« on: October 28, 2012, 03:50:58 PM »
It was brought to my attention in the Polish section that certain users are complaining that since the upgrade of the wpa_supplicant package WI-FI no longer scans (or shows available networks in the Network Center) when the card is connected to the accesspoint - link - .

Can someone please verify that? It looks like the card can handle only one thing at a time after the upgrade. Being connected OR scanning. Downgrading to previous version of wpa_supplicant fixes the issue.

Regards.

I get a scan of all networks with network center in PCC, but not in net_applet. net_applet hasn't worked reliably for me in quite a while, so I put a link to network center on my taskbar. I don't know if wpa_supplicant is broken or if net_applet is broken.
