kde 2012.8 torrent???

Hi, LinuxTracker does not have the standard KDE 2012.8 iso on their site.  Several people have posted similar complaints on LinuxTracker-- when they finally get to the right page for PCLOS kde 2012.8 and click "download" it says "torrent not found".

My internet is just slow enough that the connection drops or the download freezes before I can get the .iso file downloaded by normal (non-bittorrent) methods.

Anybody know of a mirror that is hosting the KDE 2012.8 torrent?

Hi Nok-

That's how I did it-- the normal KDE download on that page drops before my 3mb connection can finish.  The torrent link there points to LinuxTracker, where the torrent is listed, but when you select download it says, "torrent file not found."

I tend to prefer torrents for this very reason-- because you can pick up with a torrent download at any point if the computer or internet connection burps or hiccups.

Anyway, for anyone who wants to try the latest PCLOS, if they're not able to complete a normal download, they're out of luck.

Unless another site has the torrent file (??)

Another forum member (DeBaas) is in the process of re-uploading PCLinuxOS torrents to Linuxtracker.

Linuxtracker has been hacked recently and this has caused problems in most of the torrents listed.
PCLinuxOS torrents are tracked by Linuxtracker but can't be downloaded.
The torrent for Full Monty is fixed and the rest will follow shortly.
