How do I get Digikam back after KDE 4.9.2 upgrade?
« on: October 27, 2012, 01:17:46 PM »
I upgraded to KDE 4.9.2 and have lost Digikam and Kipi-Plugins. If I try and install Digikam from Synaptic I get

The following Package have unresolved dependencies

digikam:
 Depends: kipi-plugins
 Depends: libdigikamcore.so.2
 Depends: libdigikamdatabase.so.2
Depends: libkdcraw.so.20  but it is not installable
Depends: libkexiv2.so.10  but it is not installable
 Depends: libkface.so.1
 Depends: libkgeomap.so.1
 Depends: libkipiplugins.so.2
Depends: libkipi.so.8  but it is not installable
 Depends: libkvkontakte.so.1
Depends: libmarblewidget.so.13  but it is not installable

Any Idea how I solve this one?

You can't, at least not at the moment.

Neal and Archie are working on it and I have great faith on them in finding a solution pretty soon... :)
