i need help 2 find burning and ripping program that works on the full monty as well a playback blue-ray(store bought blue-rays)not home made

Load up Synaptic. Search for Blu Ray. There are a few files available but none I see for burning. BTW-welcome to PCLOS!

For playing try VLC and mplayer

Which version of PCLinuxOS are you using - kde, lxde, xfce etc ?

As Phil mentioned  VLC may play them

Check to see if libbluray0 is installed

Description:

libblurayis an open-source library designed for Blu-Ray Discs playback for
media players, like VLC or MPlayer
