XMind asking for root password
« on: September 13, 2012, 06:03:34 PM »
Thank you for packaging XMind, is not really broken in the sense that it works but it have some flaws.

I just updated XMind (very good btw) but asks for root password each time. Besides, if you want to open a file it points to root.

for I shall not pass this way again.

If you start from the command line and su to root before initiating the program gives this

Quote
[usuario@localhost ~]$ su
Password:
[root@localhost usuario]# xmind

GConf-WARNING **: Client failed to connect to the D-BUS daemon:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
GConf Error: No D-BUS daemon running

And repeat it 2 more times  :-\

Any idea on what to do?
