Allow me some space on this thread to add a little bit more wisdom on those already plaguing this thread.
On Standard KDE, removing apps will very often leave configurations files and settings on your /home. Unless you're planning on reinstalling those apps at a later time and expect the same configurations, you'll have those annoying (but nevertheless irrelevant) tidbits. On installing new apps on a Minime, you will be creating those same configuration files and settings so if you install then for some reasons remove an app, that goes pretty much the same. When you know what you want to add to Minime, you're pretty much closer to that ideally perfect system devoid of those annoying (but nevertheless irrelevant) tidbits.
Whenever I try an app then remove it, my first destination is my /home folder ... locating and removing those leftover configuration files and settings.
