Hi Guy's
Being a Pensioner (76) money does play a big part in what I can now afford.
The boards I have purchased in the past, and they are still running well, are ASUS. I think I may have a Gigabyte board.
I am happy with these to boards, but since my very old system are giving troubles I am trying to find boards that are not too pricy plus cpus and 4GB ram, again not to pricy. Some systems I have to get rid of, working but now seem to noisy, 5*36GB scsi, but the system needs a 600W PSU, free if someone can pick it up (Noosa, Queensland Au.), 2 sata2 ports as well.
If anyone wants if contact here.!!!!!
You have all been very helpful, so thank you.
I have to do some thinking. ASRock does not support Linux according to the manufactures, as does not the Gigabye boards, now?
With Intel dropping Linux support in their new cpus we are going to be hard pressed to get working systems!!!
