Problem with Graphics and Sound card
« on: October 15, 2012, 01:04:30 PM »
Hi everyone,
So, not so long ago, I posted something requesting help for partitioning my hard drive, and the replies I got were more than enough to give me a huge idea of what I've to do.
Now, the thing is that I tried to run a Live version of the latest ISO of PCLOS KDE, and it wouldn't detect my Graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M) and my sound card (I wouldn't have audio at all, Conexant Audio CX20672-21Z). I've read posts here and in other places saying that the NVidia driver now supports my graphics card but I haven't been able to make it work so far.
The question: is it a problem of not installing PCLOS and just running the Live version of it? I'm just asking because I didn't have this problem before when running the Live version in my old Compaq V3000.
Thanks!
