I wonder how everyone would feel if it was THEIR computer that was hacked. We all complain when they start hacking this forum. So it is ok, to hack someone else? It is wrong, the US should just drop a drone on him, or have the CIA take him out, like 007 would.

To attack another country is an act of WAR ......  so you propose the USA goes to war with another country because of this?

You obviously have very little regard for people to propose going to war over this.

Unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The US Soldier that put out all the information to wikileaks, should be tried for treason and be put to death. I don't care whose citizen is the one that does it. When he went in he swore and oath, he broke that oath.

I think you're mistaking Gary McKinnon for a US Soldier.

If it wasn't for the USA and it's evil government, and the 10's of thousand of citizens that died to protect them, England and all of Europe would be speaking German or Russian

Is an invalid point of argument to this topic and quite honestly an ignorant comment to make.

Yet no word on how YOU would feel if your computer got hacked or about hacking the forum. Instead you went after the tongue in cheek comment, hence the reference to Bond.
I have nothing further to say, as that ends my part in this. I was pointing out the  hypocrisy of the posters. it's OK to hack another's computer, BUT you wouldn't feel the same way if it was yours that was hacked. It is wrong on ANY level.

Hacking into computers is a crime and in severe cases extradition is appropriate. Yes, the victim of a crime feels angry and violated. I don't think anyone disputes that. I have had a forum I ran hacked and as it was hosted in a VM on my desktop I had to re-install my whole desktop to be safe.

When I get spam telephone calls from overseas in complete violation of British law I wish the RAF could bomb the Indian and Chinese call centres, but it's a momentary expression of my feeling of violation. It would clearly be a disproportionate response.

Whether this individual should be extradited is a matter for the courts considering all the details of the case and making a balanced judgement. Generally courts take a lot of care and when the public disagrees with the results it's usually because there are aspects of the case the media have chosen not to report, as they like to create scandal and making the courts look rational doesn't suit their scandal-mongering agenda.
