Ok

I did an fsck and memtest and nothing wrong. I got sick an tired and uninstalled it and installed linux mint 13 mate, after a long period the same thing happen freeze, no keyboard control no mouse control .

What solved the problem was to remove Kernel 3.2 and install Kernal 3.3.6 and viola no more freezes.

I went to see what kernal PClinuxos 2012 used and it was 3.2 so me not been to computer savy put two and two together and thought that maybe the 3.2 kernal which this is built on is glitchy. Up to know 24hrs have passed running Mint linux 13 mate without a freeze .

If someone can give me another solution as to why PCLinuxos is freezing and Mint Linux 13 MATE is not using the same PC then I await.

Thanks

if you can, try that while we get kernel 3.3 or 3.4

T6 no you didn't so I decided to do something more drastic uninstall Pclinuxos and try something else which was Mate , as I stated same problem but with a solution upgrade to kernal 3.3.6 so far so good not a glitch.

thanks to all
Hope to get back to PClinuxos once it has been fixed properly. For now Linux Mint 13 Mate is superfast and stable. :D

ok, don't forget to come back for 64 bit release, maybe next year or if you miss pclinux install with the 3.2 kernel and then from synaptic install 2.6.38, i did that and on desktop use 3.2 but on netbook i use 2.6.38
