Hi, boys! ;D ;D

Hope you are doing well.
As well as me at least. :)

After yesterday's updates via Synaptic suddenly ;) wbar didn't load automatically at the login procedure.

Wahh?!?
 :o

So... I discovered some changes in two files:

---> file /home/"me"/.config/autostart/lxautostart.desktop
line
Exec=/home/guest/.config/lxautostart/lxautostart.sh

---> file /home/"me"/.config/lxautostart/lxautostart.sh
The permission of this file was "Execute - Nobody"

So because of these two features the autostart couldn't be executed.

I'm sure I didn't do that... :-\ Not guilty :-[

I changed the "guest" to the account name and changed the permission to "Only owner and group" and now I'm phine.
 ;D

permissions should to be for current user on autostart.sh.

Wbar.desktop is gone from /etc/xdg/autostart, and so it will not longer working by default.
See http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,108547.0.html

You can use lxautostart to get it back to /home/<YOU>/.config/autostart/wbar.desktop

If you not have permissions on autostart.sh, reinstall lxautostart, and see if it solve permissions issues.

Leiche, Hi!

I am not complaining - just shared.
I resolved my problem but am sharing for those who might have the same problem.

----------------------------
See my logic chain:
Yesterday autostart was working.
Today it didn't.
Went to system to see.
Saw my baby there not usual features (as described above).
Changed one of them to what looks usual.
Didn't work.
Went further, saw my baby there another unusual feature. Changed it again to usual and - success!
After that I went reversal to see if the problem would appear - yes, it came back.

Now what I am saying is that updates (may be) changed these things said above.
Any one of those two changes prohibited autostart to take place.

"Saw my baby there" - I meant this:

Louis Armstrong: St. James Infirmary
