« on: October 07, 2012, 07:43:33 AM »
After  new update for KDE when I am  on Skype I can hear the other  person  but they
cannot hear me.  Appreciate any help to get this resolved.  Thank you.

Thank  you  for  your responses,    I   went  into options and  changed  the mic info.  Thank you all for
your quick  reply!

Tell us what you have checked since you lost sound so we don't waste time going over stuff you have already tried.

What hardware? ...USB?  Plug-in mic?

I'm using a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000; USB Video/Mic.

What are your settings under Options/Sound devices? Here's mine.

Also, under Sound Mixer (main panel) Check your Mic/Capture settings.

MGBguy picture is beautiful , You can use "Make a test call" for test sound from pulse audio
You need find working mixer sound for pulse audio and push all  max ( not all mixer sound working with pulse audio and this is problem find it )
