Wierd Display Issue - Solved
« on: September 29, 2012, 10:07:07 AM »
I have a wierd display issue that I've ignored for months (or maybe over a year) because it wasn't TOO big of a deal.  I have an nVidia display card and whenever I watch Youtube videos, the skin tones of people has a wierd blue color to them.  Also, if I leave my browser on a page with a Youtube video and minimize it, any other window I open up has wierd artifacts at the spot where the Youtube window would be.  Watching web video content from other sites (i.e ESPN, CNN, etc.) appears to be okay.  Anyone else ever notice this type of behavior and have suggestions for a fix?  I tried the nouveau driver a couple times and the video is better, but overall performance doesn't seem to be equal to the nVidia driver and it has it's own wierd issue when the screensaver has been on for a while.

Thanks.  I searched a while back and try not to post without doing a good search first.  I guess I never thought to simply search for "blue people".  lol  I need to step up my "search" game.
