Grub-How to edit it

I have two partitions in windows showing up in Grub Graphical Boot. How can I get rid of them?

edit    /boot/grub/menu.lst   as root

Alternatively you can edit Grub through the Boot section of the PCC

......  after you press Esc to get out of the graphical Grub page, and then the edit is only applicable to that boot .....  which is rather pointless when trying to delete boot options from the Grub menu   ;)
