[SOLVED] PASS updates

A recent thread revealed that version 4 of Skype is in the other repositories but not in PASS.  There may well be other updates which have not been added to PASS.

I would like to know whether I would be better off using one of the other repositories to keep my software updated.

Synaptic > Reload >> Search - skype

Thanks.  That particular package update is there now.  It wasn't when I posted although mentioned a couple of days ago in another thread as being in other repositories.

I just wondered whether PASS is lagging now and it's better to use another repository.

No, PASS is not lagging. It is ahead by about 5 to 7 days.     
The skype update got behind by accident.
