[SOLVED] How To Set The Default Window "View"?
« on: September 21, 2012, 06:52:30 AM »
I want to set ALL folders to automatically show by default the following:

Name, Size, Type, Date.

So I configured a folder with the settings above, selected "Details View Mode" and then clicked on:

Settings >> Save View Profile As... "File Management"

But now when I make a new folder all it shows is:

Name, Size, Date.

How do I set the default configuration for ALL folders, both existing and future? I know there's a setting to do this, but I can't recall where it is on KD4. ???

(I'm using Konq)

In Dolphin (think it's the same in Konqueror as well) I set my headings by going to

View > Adjust View Properties > Additional Information - set the "column headings" I want

Before pressing Apply tick the All Folders box and the Use these view properties as default box and then Apply and OK
