Ferdes Fides, how does one make "cream of broccoli soup"? Are you talking about the version that comes in a can?
I know lots of shortcuts for quick and tasty meals but the cooking that I do is "Made from scratch for real" as possible.
Yes it's from the can...fancy gravy for a casserole. Cream of something soup
is good sometimes for a casserole if you can create what matches up with the
other ingredients.
I used to make big batches of rice and cook beef (with soy sauce), chicken
(with sweet and sour sauce), pork (with vegetable broth), and slice everything
and mix it up and put it in the freeze, in tupperware containers, to take to work
and heat up microwave style, or just have a supply at home for a quick fancy
dinner.
With shrimp, a little bit of oyster sauce or cantonese vegetables mixed with the
rice beforehand should be good.
Didn't have to cook for a week then.
Shrimp and Grits...I'd go very hot with a small omelet !
Merry Christmas,
FF
