ALT-F2 freezes everything...Hard disk light goes crazy...
« on: September 16, 2012, 05:47:28 PM »
Its not something I am constantly pressing but whilst watching a video tonight I thought I'd call up the run dialog with alt-f2..  With the old kde 4.6.5 it would have popped up and done my bidding but this time the hard disk light flashes like a sex maniac in a secluded wood and everything locks up.

Am I the only one to see this behaviour? (It was live video of the NY Jets V Pittsburgh before anyone suggests perversion on my part) ok, maybe that is perverse but you get what I mean...

Cheers,
Blarney

It works fine here - just tested it with Firefox, Chromium, and Opera all running with multiple tabs each, and a ping test running in Konsole.

Running fully updated KDE 4.8.3 on this machine.

After a reboot all seems fine again. Maybe I had too much going on and the flashplayer was playing up?
