doesnt boot after upgrade (read only file system) (solved)
« on: September 16, 2012, 01:44:27 PM »
hi , today i updated my sources list, i think they needed to be updated for a while because i had been getting an error every time i updated the package list

so i updated the sources list, the previous error didnt show up anymore, all seemed fine except that mencoder package continued to be broken, i didnt give importance to that, i restarded the machine because i was getting an error like "cannot start the printing system" when i was trying to install a new printer, and now it doesnt boot

in safe mode i see errors like :

couldnt open temporary file .... read only file system (i didnt get to write it all)

cannot open log file /var/log/presys.log
activating compat-mode for non LSB-script dm
cannot create temporary file (this error many times in the end)
