In the late 60’s early 70’s I was a big fan of the The Mothers of Invention. Frank Zappa. I had the cassette “Mothermania” but lost it. In 1990 I found another and was listening to when my oldest daughter walked in the room. She asked what is that? I explained it and she said “that fills in the blanks.” Her and I would take a day every year and watch all of the Monty Python movies. Last year her daughter my granddaughter asked me to tell her about her mother when she was her age. I told her about the above and she said “that fills in the blanks.” ;D ;D

I propose the tuxmachines website be dropped from the DEFAULT bookmarks in the PCLinuxOS distribution as to not encourage PCLinuxOS users to visit her site and/or participate in her totally unscientific polls.
+1

any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

After reading all of the above, I would say: If your shopping and you come to a dealer that you have had unhappy dealings with, you should avoid making the same mistake again.
If you have liked her words, in the past, but do not like the vote results, refuse to vote in her future polls.  You could still read her, if you like, just don't buy a car from her.
Also: I confess, I also am one of those guys with too much time on my hands, finding myself looking at the DW numbers, wondering how the heck, can that be.  I may even try one on occasion, trying to see what I may be missing.  No worries there!  I can see why PCLOS doesn't recommend DW info.
We might do better with "0" votes in a fixed poll,(refuse to vote!) then being excluded from it.  It may also generate a lot of interest as to why we grouped together, not playing in a fixed game.  Anyone giving PCLOS an honest try, is likely to be right here with us.  Just a thought, and most have many different views.

One always has choice, unless you are already planted in the ground/up in smoke...
Was it Dark Duck, that had a fixed poll, a wile ago...
If it's behind you and you can't change the out come, just move on. (My opinion)

I agree, however, the outcome of the poll was not the point. That really is of little concern to me. What is some concern, is the fact the poll excluded PCLinuxoS, apparently due to the users telling each other there was a poll and encouraging them to vote.. (her words) so, point is, the poll has little to do with it, but the person sure does..says a lot about her integrity, or lack there of...and art my age, I have little tolerance for mental midgets with power to hurt our reputation.
enough said about this, time to move on... :) :D

Hey that's OK.  I choose to exclude going to Tuxmachines or voting in any of her brown nugget eccentric polls.  Her stupid little game of excluding distros is nothing more the a pile of chicken scratch.

Why would I care what she thinks ?
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!
