Hi to all,
I have now created a livecd of a working 2012.08.
The problem is....Akonadi will not start after reinstallation.
I have re-installed it rebooted and still no active Akonadi.
I have removed Akondai in synaptic, that of course removes almost all kde4.
I did however install openbox prior to removal.
After a reboot:
did an apt-get install of kdm and akonadi.
After a reboot install kde-pim.
After a reboot still Akonadi did not start, not registerd with dbus.
Any thoughts on this subject gratefully received.
On the working 2012.08 I have now created another livecd, so this I will now try.
