Hi,

I have suggested Clipgrab at packages suggest section and Texstar has packaged it. Easy, provides several options for the format and quality of the video to be downloaded, so that's what I use.

Its very easy to use

DWHelper - Firefox addon. Always worked for me...

Andy

Doesn't work at all for me. And I downloaded a program from the repository called Youtube Downloader. It didn't work either. I don't know if there is something wonky in some of my configurations or what but I use Firefox and that firefox extension is just like nothing is there, nothing changed.

Did I bounce Firefox? Meaning, did I restart it or stop using it? I did restart it but it didn't help. But I found the info about that Clipgrab downloader and it works just fine.

Sorry.... "Bounce": This is "slang" for stopping and restarting anything on a computer. Even the computer itself.

"Bounce Firefox = stop it and start it up again"

(this term is from the 1980's so I am just showing my age)  ::) ::)

Again, I apologize for my assumptions.

Thanks for the explanation but no, I didn't do that. I waited until it said that it would be there when I restarted Firefox so I restarted it and it still wasn't there.
