Please make XFCE workable
« on: August 18, 2012, 02:00:33 PM »
I have a netbook. I have tried all the OS's for a netbook, and this...this PCLinuxOS Phoenix XFCE is way, i mean really out there better than any other OS for netbooks. Apparently, nobody knows about this except me I guess.

So Please, whatever the problems XFCE Phoenix has with maintaining this OS, it must be resolved.

I would do whatever to keep this OS going smoothly if I knew anything about maintaining and fixing whatever programs XFCE has.

Geez;

There i a perfectly workable ISO from February available.  Since then, updates to all software are available through the repo.  I have used Phoenix for over a year and a half, and 90% of my computer time is getting work done.  There is no need to panic.

I think he means a person like sproggy to take over. In my case I was looking at XFCE when I installed KDE, I picked KDE over XFCE because of the huge download to update XFCE.
