Changing the order of GRUB entries. RESOLVED.

Speccy above. I Have 2 drives in my computer and have win 7 pro x32bit and PCLOS on one of them and Win7 home x64bit and open suse on the other.
When I turn my computer on, if I dont select the OS I want to start, it defaults to OpenSuse. I would like to change this order of events. So, can someone please tell me how to edit? GRUB to have what I want to be default? Thanks in advance, James.

Check first which operating system's GRUB is loading during boot (the selection menu - is it from PCLinuxOS or OpenSUSE?)

Well I only dual boot with win 7 and PCLinuxOS.  But the way I did it was go to PCC>Boot > Set up a Boot System > Next > Highlight the one you want to boot first and then using the "up arrow" on the right side to move it to the top.  Click "finish".  The one you moved to the top should now be the default O/S to boot.  You will note the "order" that they are listed in the Grub menu has not changed.  But the one you moved will now boot first.  Hope that helps you.

Start as Grandpa did, but when you Highlight the one you want to boot first and move it to the top, also click the "modify" button on the right.  When it changes to the modify window, look for a checkbox which says "default".  Check it and then finish.  That'll make that entry the default.

Good Luck,

Thank you all for your help. I now have the order of my grub entries as I wanted them. I will mark this topic as resolved.
