Thanks again, Old-Polack, I think I'm making
slow progress. I deleted the suspect directories from /dev/
hdb1 as you directed. I think I might be back to where I started.

Upon looking at what was in each individual directory, I noticed a couple of lines out of the
#ls -l /here/boot command. I really don't know what this means, but thought you might look at it and see if it's possible that this might have something to do with the
error 15 I got.

BTW, I got my 512 MB RAM card and installed it today. I'm hoping that will help me get up and running when we get this
error 15 problem solved.
