Hi to every one,
just to let you know I found this:
The PDF Reader plugin in Firefox is not available by default for reasons of stability and security, apparently has not yet reached optimal levels to be included by default. Firefox 15 has already integrated the plugin PDF Reader, however, is turned off, we can then turn it on very easily.
To activate the PDF reader plugin in Firefox 15 just type in the address bar
Code: [Select]
about:configclick on I will pay attention and I promise . In the search bar enter:
Code: [Select]
pdfjs.disabled and give a double click on the result in order to change the value from true to false.
We close the card and we can now read PDFs directly in Firefox 15. To load one just click Ctrl + O and select the PDF to read.
I applied the above and it works fine.

p.s. this is quite different from the procedure given in the August issue of PCLOS.

Not sure what the magazine advised but quite often there is more than one way of enabling/disabling/tweaking software.
PCLinuxOS 32bit KDE 4.10.1; kernel-3.4.11-pclos1.bfs & 64bit 3.2.18bfs; NVidia GeForce 8400GS 1GB 310.19 driver

A simpler method.  Open the add-ons manager (Menu > Tools > Add-ons), select the 'plugins' page and click the button which is labelled 'enable'.

I have had the plugin disabled for some time.  Checking now it had somehow become enabled.  I have disabled it again.
