Running LXDE 2012.1. I seem to have a choice of 2 desktops. Cannot find where to alter this setting so I may have 4.

For me, it's:

"Number of desktops"

Under:

PC > More Applications > Configuration > Openbox Configuration Manager > Desktops.

 middle mouse click > Manage Desktop > Add New Desktop
