Repository Details
« on: August 27, 2012, 03:48:08 AM »
I have been having a little trouble lately syncing my local copy and using it.

I had a look at the .RPMS and .SRPS and am a little puzzled with a couple of things, that maybe someone could explain please.

The release file contains

Components: games kde kde4 main nonfree special testing unstable updates xfce4  #(10 in all)

The RPMS.kde4  no longer exists
Yet SRPMS.kde4 does exist

RPMS.unstable  exists
Yet SRPMS.unstable does not.

Is this deliberate, or is there something slightly amiss here?

Thanks for any info available.

The SRPMS.kde4 is left there in case we may need to pull in a rebuild. I'm sure that as we progress, it will eventually be removed.

As for unstable, I am not sure about the logic there. I am not a contributor to that section. ;)

I had thought that might be the case

I thought possible the SRPMs for those were not needed on the main repos and so were not added ...  to be added when whatever comes out of stable and into one of the other sections.

Even so, rather than relying on my own musings, I thought to ask  ;)
