Upon completion of latest updates through synaptic i got the following message.
Could someone please elaborate on this?

While installing package ndiswrapper-1.58-1pclos2013:

please download binary driver (look at http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/)
use ndiswrapper -i <inffile.inf> as root to install driver

This is just an information for people actually using ndiswrapper to connect using wifi. ndiswrapper can be used just in case the standard Linux wifi setup doesn't work and instead uses the Windows driver (the .inf file mentioned in the message).

If you don't use wifi or your wifi works with the standard setup to connect to the internet, you can safely ignore this message  ;)

There was a reference or two to this in the forum in the past two days. If you are not using ndiswrapper, you can ignore the message.
