Hello!
Thanks for the new release and the excellent work!
My question to the developers. A few weeks ago I downloaded pclinuxos-kde-minime-TR2012.06.iso from the official repository, when it was available.
Since then, there have been some important changes, because of which there was even a delay of this release.
During this time, I used pclinuxos-kde-minime-TR2012.06.iso, add all my programs and regularly updated it every day. Should I worry about the fact that my system does not meet some of the important criteria? Do I have to make some manual adjustments and tweaks or add the required packages for the system to match the most current release? I guess this question is important not only for me.
Install a new image and start the job from the beginning is not acceptable to me.
My current system works well.
Thanks again.
Keep updating it on a regular basis, and you should be fine. Whatever changes were made, were mostly to default settings and such, with a few extras added to some applications, like a root profile for Konsole. If you upgrade to the latest version of konsole you'll have that, and you probably have already done that, if you've recently done a full upgrade. If you haven't done a recent full upgrade, do so now, and you'll have the same thing you'd have if your original installation was from the latest image."
So I am thinking, that is also true for KDE 2012.06 TR. Is that right???
If it is great!! But I must have missed something along the way. I believe I have followed along and did all the things, like changed kde4 to kde in synaptic etc. But I am still using the kernel 3.2.18-pclos2.bfs. Where can I find kernel 4.8.3?
