[SOLVED] E17 Mixer "Problem"
« on: April 22, 2013, 08:45:22 AM »
More like a small bump in the road  ;)
I didn't think to take a screenshot.. but on my install, the default mixer icon on the shelf , when clicked, produced a double slider that didn't alter the volume.

I added another shelf.. put in a mixer, which gave a single slider that worked as expected..moved it down to the bottom shelf, and all is right with the world  ;D

It was also easy to fix with the mixer shelf settings.  ;)

Yup, was just about to mention that, from my running it on the desktop.  ;D

Marking this solved.

I tried e17 with lxde base and I have no sound, not putting the actual base iso with KDE.
In Lxde "gmixer" does not work, install "amixer", but the channel "Master" is not therefore still have no audio.
In PCLOS-center, detects the card, but I still have sound.
Alsaconf , not detect the soundcard.

In Debian same problem , but fixed with:
root $ echo “options snd_hda_intel model=auto” » /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf ; rmmod snd_hda_intel ; modprobe snd_hda_intel
