Hello I am having problems with any repository I use, and my Internet connection is fine, what can I do? I get this error message, no matter which repository I use:
Quote
Could not download all repository indexes

The repository might be no longer available or could not be contacted because of network problems. If available an older version of the failed index will be used. Otherwise the repository will be ignored. Check your network connection and the correct writing of the repository address in the preferences.

I also get this error with each repo I try:
Quote
The following problems were found on your system:
W: Release file did not contain checksum information for http://ftp.nl.freebsd.org/os/Linux/distr/pclinuxos/pclinuxos/apt/pclinuxos/2010/base/pkglist.kde4

Thanks and regards

Pay attention to the part concerning kde4 in the Section(s): field.

Thanks Old-Polack,

I have LXDE, probably with KDE packages also, If I decide to wait until everything is back to normal, when this will be expected to be corrected? No more questions.

Best regards

It will be corrected when you correct it on your installation. This is today's normal, and the normal for the foreseeable future.

  • LXDE! Coffee, Bacon and Cheesecake!
joejac,
The kde4 section in the repository no longer exists. It will not be "back to normal," as you say. "Normal" is what exists, i.e. the kde section is "normal," as it exists.
