(Solved) Change Network Icon in LXDE ?

would like to change the network icon in lxde .. does anyone have a easy how to ??

/usr/share/applications/net_applet.desktop ---     
Line #5 is the icon line. As root, change it to the one you want to use.

that's what I thought also.. but no.. even tried usr/share/autostart and still no change..

That determines the icon for the menu entry ......  the icons used in the tray are determined within the python script (I think) ......  /usr/bin/net_applet


Maybe edit the connected & disconnected icons themselves?
