Installed remaster now insists on creating new user
« on: August 17, 2012, 04:31:58 PM »
Hello.  Previously, when booting into a system installed from a remaster, I have been asked to create a user.  I created my user and was told that user already exists.

The booting process then moved on.  No longer.  It will not move on until you create a new user.  I created Guest and deleted that user after logging in.  My guess is that change is unintentional. ???

I have not met with this --- yet

Have always been able to go ahead by leaving the entries blank and clicking on one of the buttons .....  cancel I think?

Not something I needed to remember so ....

Noticed that first time I did a remaster.  Now I just create a user call "junk" or another name without a password.

Then when the selection of which user to use, I go into my regular user and PCC > System > Manage users on system
there I delete the "junk" user, and exit.

Always figured it was a demand on first run, or a bug, but this work around, works for me.

Yes, of course I tried the 'OK' button.

Insisting on a new user is unnecessary and a recent innovation.
