do you miss your tamagotchi?

I was sure the Tamagotchi was older  :-\

i decided to try again android 4 in my xperia, installed maximum official version for it 4.0.4 and then rooted it

it is working well, but it lacks some widgets that were only present in android 2.3.4, particularly a timer widget i used alot

so i searched for a replacement and didn't found a widget i liked, but found a very nice free app replacement, kitchen timer

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxxt.kitchentimer

i was playing with the gps and the offline maps, i was using mapfactor navigator but thing refused to find signal(this gps antenna is rather weak) and when finally found it, it was telling me that i was traveling 20 meters away from the street, inside a mountain?

tested mapdroyd and did something similar when didn't lost signal or ended lost in the map

then tested osmand and that thing worked so well, almost scary  ;D

i used free version that limits the amount of maps to download and also other details but it was perfectly usable i must say, i didn't tested it in navigator mode

µT6 I don't know your needs but this stopwatch app has been very useful.

just tested it, it is not a widget that can be placed on desktop, and is more a stopwatch than a timer

it worked, yes, i tested it only on wifi, disastrous side effect, it was eating 100 mbs of ram and for some reason, the cpu was so busy and apps took so long to open, it was better to remove it

there is a couple more of similar apps, anyone has suggestions?

anyone likes zombie games?  try into the dead

also found virtual table tennis, looks like the old virtua tennis for linux

I'd not noticed any untoward effects other than being constantly nagged due to my phone not being rooted. Prolly remove it myself
