Change Titlebar color
« on: August 16, 2012, 09:20:44 PM »
With a fresh install of PCLOS  Phoenix I have black titlebars.  Have installed several themes from synaptic, but the titlebar is still black.

How do I change the color of the titlebar?  I thought changing the theme would change the titlebar also.

Thanks for the help.

There is Style in Appearance (in the XFCE Settings Manager)... but there is also a Style setting in Window Manager.

Have you experimented with both? I believe the themes are in Window Manager, and the colors are in Appearance, but I could be wrong.... once I get them the way I want them, I rarely change...

Meemaw that did it.  Although in a weird sort of way.  There was no button or such for changing the color of the titlebar, but when I changed the font in the titlebar, then the color of the titlebar changed and that is good enough for me.  No more black titlebars.

Many thanks

Weird... but I'm glad it worked...

There's an XFCE Default 2009 (or something like it) that has a mostly black and dark blue design.... lots of people liked it, but it was too dark for me... I usually change it to a lighter blue....
