After update thunderbird firefox does not open as user.get this message.

how do I fix ?
Open Dolphin as root, then go to YOUR home folder (flintner) and find the.gnome folder, right click it then Properties- then Permissions. Change the permissions to
flintner and flintner and check the box apply changes to all subfolders and contents then click ok
