Today's update installed Freerdp and removed remmina (my absolute favorite vnc client program) and now I do not have a vnc client program.
I read that freerdp is actually a "sister program" to remmina, so they should be similiar, I guess. I tried to run freerdp from the commandline but get a message that "bash: freerdp: command not found". There is no icon in the menu to run it. Also I can not install remmina now as I get this message when marking remmina to install with synaptic:
remmina:
Depends: remmina-plugins
When I mark remmina-plugins for install, I get:
remmina-plugins:
Depends: remmina (>= 0.9)
Depends: libfreerdpchanman.so.0 but it is not installable
Depends: libfreerdpkbd.so.0 but it is not installable
Depends: libfreerdp.so.0 but it is not installable
Am I missing something here? If Freerdp replaces remmina shouldn't it run as a program itself? Is remmina now a "broken" program since it is not installable? If it is a broken program then I have posted this in the wrong place, oops.
