Hi there!

I wil like to set the clock at the right side of panel to show the date right under the time instead of showing in the tool tip, I have seen that in some screan captured images in other posts.
I will like to know in what day i am leaving without having to point to clock to find out.  ;D ;D ;D
can some one tell me how to do that? thanks a million

  • If the name fits... wear it.
Loles,

Try this:

Right click on the panel someplace and select "unlock widgets"
Right click on the clock area, select "Digital Clock Settings"
In the lower area of the popup in Information area, select what you want to show.
Lock widgets

Good luck,

Since this is the LXDE corner of the forum I assume Loles runs LXDE.

Right click on your clock, choose "Digital clock" settings.  add "%d/%m/%Y" without quotations at the end of the first line (Clock Format).

If you would like to do anything else to your clock - look here.

late again .... whichever way you wanna go.

+1. The clock will automatically resize. Shown here in month/day/year format.

LXDE doesn't use KDE widgets.

Yeah, finally figured that out.  With age, attention to detail is less and less my strong suit. Sorry for the intrusion.

Thanks for that link!!

I use  %b %d %Y%l:%M %p  which gives me (example today):  Jul 21 2012 5:00 PM
I prefer the single line as it keeps the panel skinny.
