Is this the Firefox message you are getting?
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 0.0.0.0.

If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I think you are doing it wrong, and barking up the wrong tree.....
0.0.0.0 is the default gateway address to the internet. That will be via your router or wireless access point, probably not via your computer.
You need to tell the voip phone how to get there.
I have not used a cisco voip phone, my own is different but the principle should be the same. (refer to your previous thread on the phone).
My router is 192.168.0.1. My voip phone is 192.168.0.10. My main machine is 192.168.0.XX (not material)
When configuring my phone I use my main machine to access it, or any other machine.
I access the voip phone via Firefox and check connection with konsole terminal:
> ping 192.168.0.10
>yes the voip phone there says the terminal
>yes your internet gateway is there
> yes this device, say wireless access point, exists
From whatever machine you are using access your voip phone configuration:
ok, you are now at the admin screen of your voip phone
Now you configure:
Gateway> how does the voip phone get to the outside world> presume via router 192.168.0.1
(it might be DHCP which is automatic address allocation)
(maybe you are using a wireless aceess point, so you tell it that address, unless you are using DHCP)
Your personal voip settings provided by your voip provider
I read through the cisco verbage and it is not clear. Not sure why you are pointing your voip at your computer. To me it sounds odd.
Forgive me if I am confusing you.
voip phone is just another device on your network
It had its own IP address
Your own computer is yet another device with its own address
Your voip phone wants to access the internet via router or wireless point, what is the routing to the outside world 0.0.0.0 it is asking
You say the gateway address to the outside world is 192.168.0.1 or the addy for your WAP 192.168.0.XXX
Your voip phone probably does not need you computer
You can use any computer to access your voip phone
Your voip phone should now access the outside world and you need to tell it your personal voip account settings
Before bashing your head against the wall further go over the documentation and consider each setup question (and if issue post the question it asks back)
Also again take a look at the callcentric.com support setup for some inspiration (earlier model from memory)
ps keep going, they can be a pain
