« on: July 15, 2012, 04:32:37 AM »
This is just to document that the Sound Blaster 24bits (SB0410) works great! I have sound on music, videos, and when watching videos online.

In such cases, it's not wrong to add this to the PCLinuxOS knowledge base  ;)

Good for you izto, you made me Miss my sound blaster  :'(

In the sounds apps you use be sure to set to highest values to use 24 bit audio and get the most of it

With PA enabled you could have used pavucontrol (PulseAudio Volume Control) to enable the sound to the sound sink you wished, or even to disable any sound sink you did not wish to be used.

Later you could enable it if required and set particular applications to use it while others use the other sound sink.
