Digikam problems - due to merge to KDE 4.8?
« on: July 11, 2012, 02:29:20 PM »
I found yesterday that I cannot change the size of photos in Digikam anymore, because there are no controls:

Could that be due to libs already moved to 4.8? Or can it be fixed while we are waiting for the move?

All I can say is that on KDE 4.8.3 32bit, I can resize pics from the menu entry Tools - Resize.

I started Digikam from a terminal today and while other transformations brought no output, opening the resizing tool brought this:

Code: [Select]
Object::connect: No such slot DigikamTransformImagePlugin::ResizeToo
Object::connect:  (receiver name: 'resizeimage')

Any takers?

Check that

BatchProcessImages (KIPI Batch Processing Images Plugin)

is enabled in the Digikam - Settings - Config Digikam - Kipi Plugins

or indeed that you have the KIPI plugins installed I suppose ....
