Networking problem - file sharing

Hello all,

I have a problem on the network in PCLinuxOS, no way can I set up a network so that I could transfer files between computers on the network.

Please help.  :)

the more information you give usually to better results and faster responses.

how many computers do you gave on your network?

what operating systems are they running?

what instructions did you use if you followed any instructions on how to set up file sharing on pclinuxos.

We have used many directions but nothing has failed so I would like to ask that you give me short instructions what to do.

UPDATED!! ASUS U52F Notebook i5 CPU,  4Gb ram, 640Gb Hard drive Dual-Boot Win 7Pro/KDE 4 3.2.18-pclos2.bfs

ASUS U50F notebook i3 4Gb Ram. 500 GB hard drive dual-boot Win 7/ KDE 3.2.18-pclos2.pae.bfs    Of course thats just my opinion I could wrong

he asked me in private and i solved the problem for him in private so he may not respond to this support thread if the solution i provided work to his satisfaction.

his problem was a lack of netbios name in his samba configuration file.

Thats good to know about the op i was having similar issues nd i wanted to know if this was good solution.  I am trying my hand at real time practical Application
