Two Drive install
« on: June 30, 2012, 05:51:03 AM »
I,ve installed two Harddrives

SDA (SSD)
SDB (standard)

SDA Partitioned for Linux OS.SDB partitioned Linux OS and Data.I tried to install PCLinuxOS 2012.2 on SDB Drive. The installer shows SDB1 and SDB2 AS SDA!and SDA2.Also does not show all Partitions. This only happens with PCLinuxOS 2012.2.

Any ideas ?

We would need to see the output as su of fdisk -l.
Details of your SSD disk and the disk controller would be useful, /sbin/lspci -nnk (also at least a make and model of the disk).

This only happens with PCLinuxOS 2012.2.
Please supply the details requested above for both PCLinuxOS and a Linux that is 'working', the output should vary between the two, and give a clue as to the driver needed or other problem.
