I would tend to blame Yahoo rather than Mozilla. How many other sites are having "problems" with the new Firefox version? You can read some of my experiences with Yahoo here.

Bare metal                           VBox
AMD Athlon 7750 Dual-Core    Single core
4GiB RAM                              1GiB RAM
nVidia GeForce FX 5200          64MB video
LXDE 32bit                            KDE 64bit

Yeah, maybe the time has come for me to ditch Yahoo all together. It is bloated up too much to my taste lately anyway.

I just signed into my Yahoo accounts, read my mail, sent a reply to one message, visited my My Yahoo page, (something I haven't done for years) emptied the spam and trash folders, and had no problems at all using FF 13. I have 4 Yahoo accounts, and all worked fine.  ???

Lucky guy you are!  ;D

It IS after all a known issue ...... (Not sure if it is related to auto login as I used to use on my PC)

I also wonder if connection speed plays a role here (Our's isn't really super at times and that has caused some problems here and there).
Think I will never know....  :)

Yes, I too experienced the same problem with mail on Yahoo.  I seldom check my Yahoo mail; but, this morning after reading the first piece of mail it asked to be resigned in.  I never thought much about it at the time.  I have not had the problem to occur on any other site.  Sound more like a Yahoo problem??

Well, it is FF not compatible with the latest Yahoo..... Yahoo didn't help out Mozilla to get there? Duno who to blame. But annoying it is!

Well it has obviously been longer that I thought.... since the last time I logged into my Yahoo account.  I can't remember my username & password.

But to be frank... I only used it for sites that I was leary of.  Oh well.............

+1  ???

I have decided that, for me anyway, having a favorite browser is like having a favorite rock... just recently switched back to Firefox when Chrome would not do what I wanted it to do...  ::)

+1.
Been using FF 13 on Yahoo without trouble. So has a friend, on the other OS. Maybe it is caused by a particular addon?

I'm not sure if O-P can be taken as a true measure of performance with this issue; he's probably either built his own Browser, or surfs from the commandline.  ;D

The problem seems to have fade away. Someone suggesting here it was Yahoo to blame was probably right.
I got this from Yahoo today:

A lot of the problems I've seen posted about Firefox 13 is on Windows systems where Flash was causing it to crash, but I think that may of  been resolved by Firefox 13.01
