Window settings not sticking<SOLVED>
« on: June 20, 2012, 02:46:50 PM »
I previously set tvtime to open in a set position on screen with a set size, by using the advanced window settings.  After the update of kde these settings do not work as before. If I set them to be 'remembered' tvtime opens in the upper left of the screen and is the size of a postage stamp. If I uncheck these settings it opens in the center of the screen and much bigger than I like.  In another post someone suggested using the 'force' setting.  I found that these do work, however with forced checked it won't let me resize the window when I want it larger.  So it really is just a partial work around.  Is there anything else I can do?

After you have your window where you want and the right size
goto
Advanced
Special Window Setting
check - Position
choose - Apply initally

I tried that.  Still doesn't work.

Update: I just tried the 'apply initially' setting and that appears to work.  If it continues to work I'll mark it as solved.
